What is a Google Group?

Google Groups is a service provided by Google to UFM  that serves multiple purposes:

• Email Lists: It allows you to email everyone in a group with a single email address.

• Discussion Boards: by keeping all email sent to a group in a single location it provides a discussion board and an email history for the group members.

• Google Drive security:  by assigning a Google Drive to the Google Group the members of the group automatically have access to the Group’s Google Drive.
